We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Automation Engineer to join our team at Granta Automation Ltd. As a Maintenance Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our robotic palletizing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and commission robotic palletizing systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system manuals and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in automation technology.
Requirements
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in automation systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, with a focus on structured text (Beckhoff).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robot programming, particularly with KUKA or similar systems.
- Knowledge of electrical design principles and practices.
- Commissioning experience with automated machinery.
- Electrical training and certification.
