About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to security alarms, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the premises, including external and internal areas, to prevent unauthorized access and detect potential security threats.
  • Manage access control systems, including issuing visitor passes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to staff, visitors, and contractors, while maintaining a high level of security awareness.
  • Operate security equipment, including radios, pagers, and clocking systems, and report any incidents or suspicious activity to management.
Requirements
  • SIA Licence - Door Supervisor
  • CCTV Licence - Preferred but not essential
  • Access to a vehicle or good transport links
  • RTW and 5yr checkable history
  • Experience in retail, events, or roles that involve interaction with the public
  • Confident and vigilant
  • Good customer service
  • Conflict management
