About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Interior Electronics / Switch Controls for various product lines within the business
  • Own technical ownership of various Interior Electronics / Switch Controls through Engineering, development, integration, and validation of electrical modules (ECUs, Sensors, and Actuators) into the vehicle electrical architecture
  • Manage commodity attributes such as Quality, Costs, Timing, Homologation, Weight, and ensure they are within business targets
  • Own Engineering Sign-off of electrical components through the development process of DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DVP&R, Test & Validation, EMC, FuSa, and Cyber Security
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Programs, Logistics, Service, and Workshops
  • Represent the Electrical in project engineering reviews and external working groups
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive Interior Electronics / Switch Packs development
  • Good understanding of Automotive New Product Development Process, Milestones, and deliverables for each phase
  • Demonstrable experience of electrical component development and manufacture for multiple projects
  • Working knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, automotive ethernet, LIN networks, and vehicle diagnostics
  • Working knowledge of relevant homologation standards, ISO26262, and EuroNCAP
  • Understanding of Functional Safety and Cyber Security requirements for a global market vehicle
  • Notable experience in using engineering development tools (Polarion, JIRA, etc.) and collaborative platforms (Microsoft Office 365)
  • Honor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics or similar areas with relevant experience
  • Additional professional qualifications and Project Management desired
  • Possession of a full driving license is essential
