Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Travel Trainer in Ealing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering travel training to young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, enabling them to become safe and independent travelers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized travel training to trainees on a one-to-one basis.
  • Visit trainees in their homes to assess their needs and develop tailored training plans.
  • Network with key stakeholders at schools and colleges across the borough to promote the Travel Training Programme.
  • Attend events at local schools and colleges to raise awareness about the programme.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective training strategies.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 qualification in Education and Training, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, with a strong passion for supporting their independence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with trainees, families, and colleagues.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
