Role Overview

Our Cloud Transformation Advisory Services assist clients in transforming their operations and unlocking the value of cloud technology. We provide value-driven cloud advisory services with industry-specific expertise. Our extensive skills in cloud strategy, orchestration, operational models, and cloud economics, supported by global resources, guide clients on their cloud journey and deliver tangible business results. This role is pivotal within the Cloud Transformation unit, contributing to strategic proposals, driving client engagement, securing new business opportunities, and mentoring a high-performing team to foster consulting practice growth.

As a Senior Consultant, you will help shape the direction of the business, embody our values and behaviors, and mentor junior team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on the implications of cloud transformation, assisting them in developing and implementing new digitally enabled business models that leverage cloud operational frameworks.
  • Conducting assessments and audits of existing cloud operational models to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and maturity of cloud operational model transformations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.
  • Delivering digitally enabled business outcomes utilizing your expertise in strategy development, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping, and organizational design.
  • Collaborating and communicating with all organizational levels to innovate, design, and implement cloud transformations.
  • Bringing a keen awareness of market trends and challenges faced by clients to facilitate sustainable organizational transformations.
  • Contributing to the growth and success of a top-tier consulting practice, including market offerings, knowledge sharing, and overall strategic objectives.

  • Business Development – Leading or contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client presentations, and hosting clients at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Developing campaigns, participating in internal think-tanks, creating whitepapers, and enhancing practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities).
  • Learning & Development – Engaging in training to support your career advancement and meet the skills demand within the organization, including certifications.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You will possess experience in transforming organizations through technology and redefining client operations. Comfortable in a technology-driven environment, you will demonstrate proven skills and experience in several of the following areas:

  • Proven experience in managing operational model transformations, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering business outcomes through consulting skills to develop cloud operational models using agile and lean principles, as well as process flow mapping.
  • Understanding of necessary changes in operations, architecture, and organizational design for successful cloud operations.
  • Practical experience with ITILv4 best practices and frameworks, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Desk operations.
  • An ITILv4 Foundation or higher-level certification demonstrating formal training and understanding of ITIL processes is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements, ensuring secure cloud environments that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience implementing platform-based operational models and designing organizational structures that enhance cloud value.
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience developing and implementing tailored client engagement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Evidence of successfully delivering and leading advisory engagements, driving positive outcomes and developing opportunities for follow-on work.
  • Experience leading and supporting sales efforts, shaping deal and engagement commercials.
  • Evidence of managing teams, including multiple workstreams in complex delivery environments.

Additional Skills

Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices is a plus, as well as an understanding of various elements of a cloud adoption strategy, including the structure and functions within a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE).
