We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in East Dunbartonshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with additional needs to live independently and make their own choices.
About the Role:This is a 24-hour supported accommodation service, and shift patterns will consist of days, evenings, waking nights, and weekends. A driver is preferred for this role, but not essential as training will be provided. Having experience of supporting individuals with additional needs is desirable but not required.
Key Responsibilities:- Support individuals with daily living skills, including personal care, managing medication, and domestic tasks.
- Assist with arranging and attending health appointments and promoting social and community inclusion.
- Work collaboratively with the team to promote independence and choice for service users.
- A minimum of 28 days paid holiday per year, including bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff).
- Accredited training to develop your skills and knowledge.
- An employer contributory pension scheme.
- Mileage paid at 35p per mile at a flat rate up to 10,000 miles per year.
