About the Role

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at the CANtreat Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses in the administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses in the administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with cancer
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with best practices
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest cancer treatments and technologies

Requirements

  • 1st level registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Degree in healthcare related subject
  • UKONS SACT Passport or NM6 995 Chemotherapy Administrations and Care
  • Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care ILS
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development
