About the Role
NBBJ is seeking a skilled Medical Planner to join our team. As a Medical Planner, you will play a crucial role in the design and planning of complex healthcare projects, including large-scale hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan hospitals and clinics, ensuring that they meet the needs of patients and healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with clients to identify their objectives and develop options for healthcare projects.
- Participate in Clinical User Group meetings and client presentations, effectively communicating project plans and progress.
- Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers to deliver high-quality healthcare projects from concept design through to construction.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Medical Planning, with a focus on complex healthcare projects.
- Proven ability to lead healthcare projects from briefing/concept design through construction administration.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with design teams, consultants, and clients.
- Skilled in leadership and management of user group engagements and development of deliverables.
- Familiarity with innovative healthcare strategic planning, Medical Planning, and briefing.
- Experience marketing healthcare projects.
- Familiarity with current industry practices, trends, and innovation.
- Proficient in Revit.
- Willingness to travel.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Professional Licensure, required.
- LEED Accreditation, encouraged.
- Familiarity with LEAN Concepts, encouraged.
- Familiarity with C-Sheet Process.
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
- Proactive and independent approach to work and ownership of assigned tasks.
