Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at RGE Services Ltd. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and servicing, as well as inspecting and testing electrical systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and servicing to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems.
  • Carry out electrical remedial works to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Undertake new electrical inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Action reactive electrical works to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs to ensure safety.
  • Carry out company works as required and to desired standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive image of the company.
  • Comply with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of service.
  • Produce reporting on time and to agreed standards.
  • Adhere to the company's quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly.
Requirements:
  • UK Driving Licence (required).
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing, and installations, preferably within the public sector.
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the Electrical Trade.
  • Current Trade Qualifications.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings.
  • IT literate.
  • A commitment to great customer service.
