About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our project team and report to the Head of Planning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the range of planning and scheduling activities involved throughout the project life cycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Working with all disciplines to identify planning scope, constraints, and contract requirements.
  2. Building the programme from first principles, ensuring that programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance.
  3. Producing and documenting the planning deliverables, including programme copies, basis of schedule, presentations, and reports.
  4. Reconciling company and sub-contract plant/labour and major materials elements.
  5. Working with the Risk Management team to identify and apply time risk allowance, terminal float, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience of using Primavera P6 across all stages of the project life cycle.
  2. Awareness of schedule quality metrics such as DCMA 14-point, and associated tools.
  3. Experience of Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis, and associated tools.
  4. Substantial experience of projects within the construction industry worth £1m - £100m.
  5. Experience in working with NEC contracts, including strong understanding of the various forms of tender documents, contract documents, and specifications.
  6. Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering, construction, or project management related discipline.
