Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kingdom People Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyse and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adherence to health and safety requirements and familiarity with HACCP and BRC standards.
