Towbar & Service Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Towbar & Service Technician to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a Towbar & Service Technician, you will be responsible for fitting towbars to customer vehicles and servicing/repairing trailers on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fitting towbars to customer vehicles, ensuring all marks are recorded on the relevant form.
  • Keeping up to date with any changes to suppliers' towbar fitting instructions, including wiring via our Branch network and internet/intranet.
  • Reporting any problems or damage relating to customers' vehicles/property immediately to the Branch Manager/Assistant Manager.
  • Servicing and repairing the Company's fleet of hire trailers to an agreed schedule.
  • Maintaining and updating full records of each trailer in the Company hire fleet for servicing purposes.
  • Assembling and modifying trailers as required.
