Towbar Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Towbar & Service Technician to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fitting towbars to customer vehicles and servicing/repairing trailers on our fleet of vehicles.

• Fitting towbars to customer vehicles, ensuring all marks are recorded on the relevant form.
• Keeping up to date with changes to suppliers' towbar fitting instructions, including wiring via our network and internet/intranet.
• Reporting any problems or damage relating to customers' vehicles/property immediately to the Branch Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Servicing and repairing our fleet of hire trailers to an agreed schedule.
• Maintaining and updating full records of each trailer in our fleet.

Requirements:

• Previous vehicle workshop experience to some extent.
• Full driver's license with minimal points.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

• Basic salary up to £30,000.
• 32 days holiday entitlement.
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Training available.
