About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in West Wales. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with qualified nurses and other professionals
  • Participate in activities that promote self-esteem and well-being, such as arts and crafts, exercise, and social events
  • Manage challenging behavior in a safe and respectful manner
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience in social care, with a strong understanding of person-centered care
  • Completion of PBM training and removal training for one of the settings
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including wakeful nights and split shifts
