This position offers an excellent opportunity for multiple Field Service Engineers to become part of an innovative company recognized globally for its expertise in the design, development, and production of electric vehicles, accompanied by a competitive salary and benefits package.

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility is to deliver aftersales product support for a diverse range of vehicles at various customer locations and depots. This includes servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and ensuring prompt resolutions for the entire fleet of electric vehicles. There may be occasions requiring support across the service centre's region and potentially in other areas as needed.

Given the nature of the products supported, initial training will take place at the production facility, necessitating temporary travel away from home.

This role may also involve occasional overnight assignments at different locations, with reasonable notice provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive PSV maintenance, inspections, fault diagnostics, and repairs at customer sites and, if necessary, at the service centre, utilizing the latest technical documentation for efficient repairs.
  • Collaborate with customers, call centre, and parts personnel to report issues and order necessary parts to ensure timely job completion. Ensure all job write-ups and reports are clear and accurate, obtaining required authorizations before leaving the site.
  • Submit completed job cards to the service centre for processing on the same day or as soon as feasible.
  • Engage in product training as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, remaining aware of surroundings and local engineering standards.
  • Assist customers with servicing and repairs to enhance their understanding of the products.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid driving license and PSV license
  • Minimum City & Guilds level 3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent qualification
  • Strong electrical and computer-based diagnostic capabilities.
  • Competence in EV or Hybrid systems, including HV training related to High Voltage DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision.
