Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to work across multiple workstreams and support senior leaders in making data-driven decisions to maximize returns to good causes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Finance Manager with analysis and presentations to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed analysis and presentations to facilitate business decisions.
- Lead financial modeling and P&L summary of business cases, working with business stakeholders to understand revenue and cost drivers.
- Support the Product team to understand performance, identify risks and opportunities, and work alongside broader finance and analytics teams to offer solutions and opportunities for business growth.
- Own month-end performance updates, including detailed analysis and commentary to communicate performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead process improvement and streamlining across the Commercial Planning and Trading team.
- Assist the Finance Graduate within the Commercial Planning and Trading team and support their development.
- Deputize for Commercial Finance Manager, working alongside senior team members as and when required.
- Assist with ad-hoc queries from Product, Channel, and Marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Highly numerate with the ability to analyze, model, and interpret data, including large data sets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to articulate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and ability to apply this to decision making and recommendations.
- Experience with SAP BPC preferred.
- Experience in a similar Commercial Finance role preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Lookups, Pivots, Data Visualization) and data manipulation.
- Experience with BI tools an advantage.
- Self-starter with a keen attention to detail and independent thinking.
