Job Title: Head of Finance

Kenton Black Finance is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for driving productivity and enhancing the service offered to the business throughout the core finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the SSC Finance Team, including Management Accounts and Commercial Finance
  • Standardise and rationalise processes, ensuring they are documented and satisfy relevant financial control requirements
  • Prepare monthly management accounts using SAP systems and perform associated balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring cost centre and GL posting accuracy across departments and entities
  • Prepare P&L visibility to department budget holders and hold regular meetings to discuss variance analysis and financial planning
  • Highlight potential cost saving opportunities and work with relevant departments on modelling and business cases to support controlling business costs
  • Feed into group consolidation of actuals, budget, and forecast
  • Oversee the purchase order process across departments, including training, policy, and approval matrix
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc duties as required
  • Continued development of finance staff
  • Assist in continuous improvements in month-end controls and improvement to a SOX level
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of effective staff management and the qualifications and technical skills to enhance process and procedure. You will be a leader, able to implement change, and have the opportunity to use your experience and initiative to drive process improvements, collaborating with key stakeholders along the way.

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and able to effectively communicate with stakeholders on all levels, you will be working alongside like-minded professionals in an environment where there is opportunity to develop and progress.
