Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEMH School

Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time

Salary: £21,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Cambian Red Rose School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to students with SEMH difficulties
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH difficulties
