HGV Class Two Tipper Driver Job Description

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Class Two Tipper Driver to join our team. This is a temp to perm position based in the Irlam area.

This role involves tipper work, which requires driving into dirty sites and performing manual tasks such as brushing out the tipper. The company operates a mix of Scania, MAN, and Volvo trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV2 tipping vehicles carrying aggregates and building supplies
  • Perform manual tasks such as sweeping out the back of the trailer
  • Make 3-8 drops per day, depending on distance and local work

Requirements:

  • HGV Class Two Licence
  • In-date CPC and Digi
  • No more than 6 points, no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes
  • 2 years of HGV experience
  • 1 year of tipper experience, with muck away experience required

What We Offer:

  • A competitive PAYE rate for Monday to Friday days
  • A bonus scheme based on the number of tips completed

Shift Pattern:

  • 0615 start to be out the yard for 0700
  • Monday to Friday
