HGV Class Two Tipper Driver Job Description

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Class Two Tipper Driver to join our team for ongoing work based in the Irlam area.

This is a tipper driver position that involves working on dirty sites and performing manual tasks such as brushing out the tipper. The company operates a mix of Scania and Volvo trucks, and all drivers must have experience with muck away.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry aggregates and building supplies in a HGV2 tipper
  • No loading or unloading involved, but may need to sweep out the trailer
  • Number of drops will vary depending on distance and local work
  • Average shift length: 8 to 10 hours

Requirements:

  • HGV Class Two Licence
  • In-date CPC
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes
  • 2 years of HGV experience, including 1 year of tipper experience
  • Muck away experience is essential

What We Offer:

  • Temp to perm opportunity
  • Bonus scheme based on the number of tips completed
  • Competitive pay rate: £16ph

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 0615 start to be out the yard for 0700

Pay:

  • PAYE
  • Monday to Friday: £16ph
