We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team at GP Fund Solutions. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based industry-specific accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Treasury Functions: Perform treasury functions, including reconciliation of bank accounts, processing of disbursements, and preparation of cash reporting.
- Workpapers and Financial Statements: Prepare assigned workpapers for fund products within the quarterly reporting cycle and assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements.
- Investor Inquiries: Prepare and manage multiple ad-hoc investor inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Capital Activity: Assist in the preparation of capital activity, including capital calls and distributions.
- Client and Team Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, preferably with 2-3 years of experience post-qualified.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in software related products, including Microsoft Excel.
- Leadership Experience: Leadership or management duties in recent roles, with a focus on team collaboration and development.
- Master's Degree: Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
- CPA: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Private Fund Administration Experience: Experience in private fund administration, with a focus on financial reporting and treasury functions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent people skills, with the ability to partner with a dynamic team.
- Personal Qualities: Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexible and able to multitask, with the ability to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
