Finance Transformation Project Manager

Our client, a reputable insurance company, is seeking a Finance Transformation Lead/Project Manager to work from their offices in Norwich on a hybrid basis.

This is a 12-month contract with a competitive rate, inside IR35.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Teams, focusing on Credit Risk, Accounts Receivable, and Collections. They will have strong finance experience, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, including outsourcing projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for replacing a Policy Admin System, which will impact the AR/Collections teams. They must understand the implications of this change and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Finance Teams to drive process improvements and implement change.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Finance Teams and senior management.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in finance transformation, with a strong understanding of finance processes and systems.
  • Background in Account Receivable or Collections, with experience in double-entry accounting and collections.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
