As a key member of the IRIS Software Group team, this role is focused on the successful delivery of our education pension service. The successful candidate will work closely with the team and head of department to ensure the smooth operation of our pension services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of education pension systems and procedures, including the rules for Local Govt. and Teachers' Pension Schemes.
- Process pension forms and returns for starters, leavers, changes, and other relevant events.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly pension returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with payroll teams, schools, and pension schemes to resolve pension-related queries and issues.
- Work towards demonstrating a thorough knowledge of education pension fundamentals, staying up-to-date with changes and developments in the field.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the team and ensure the successful delivery of our pension services.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding effective solutions to complex pension-related issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to focus and concentrate on tasks requiring accuracy and precision.
