Contract Duration: 19 weeks
Work Schedule: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 30
Note: Compensation varies based on residency status; travel positions require living over 50 miles from the healthcare facility.
Position Summary:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering quality care to patients under the guidance of a licensed nurse. This travel role demands adaptability and the willingness to work in diverse healthcare environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support patients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Record and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist with patient mobility and transportation, including lifting, turning, and repositioning.
- Observe and communicate any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Ensure patient hygiene and comfort by changing bed linens and maintaining cleanliness.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification.
- Current driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to various healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
