About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nursing Associate Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses in the delivery of high-quality patient care, including daily living activities and promoting health and independence.
  • Perform and record clinical observations, such as blood pressure, temperature, respirations, and pulse.
  • Undertake clinical tasks, including cannulation, venepuncture, and ECGs.
  • Ensure the privacy, dignity, and safety of individuals are maintained at all times.
  • Recognize issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults and report any concerns to registered care professionals.
  • Assist in the implementation of appropriate action to meet the specific physical, emotional, and psychological needs of individuals and carers.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Functional/Key Skills in English and Maths or GCSE English Language & Maths at Grade A-C /4-9.
  • Relevant, recent experience working within healthcare is essential.
  • The ability to study at Diploma level and a commitment to complete a Foundation Degree Apprenticeship.
  • A Care certificate or the expectation to obtain one during the first three months of the ANA programme.
