Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Systems Engineer to lead our offshore design team and provide guidance on Marine Systems design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up internal workflows for assigned projects, planning team activities, and reviewing technical documentation produced by the team.

Key responsibilities include studying and defining the best technical solutions for Marine Systems, reviewing project documentations provided by contractors/Shipyards, and ensuring awareness of pipeline design standards requirements and correct application of Company HSEQ policies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an appropriate engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering and naval architecture, with a focus on Marine Systems.

They will also have specific skill sets in the design of cargo loading, storage and offtake systems, slop and drain systems, bilge and ballast systems, Inert Gas, production distribution and venting, diesel power generation and their auxiliary systems, freshwater production, compressed air, etc.

Knowledge of Classification Society Rules, SOLAS, MARPOL as applicable to FPSO and FLNG would be a major advantage for this position.

Experience of working on or monitoring of FEED and EPC LNG projects, Seagoing experience as second/chief engineer, experience in working with Oil Tankers/LNG Carriers, experience as a Classification Society, surveyor or Tanker/LNG Ship Vetting engineer, OPITO certified for offshore travel would be preferable to cover this position.

We operate a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month.
