Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to provide exceptional care to a vibrant lady in her thirties living with cerebral palsy.

Our client enjoys an active lifestyle, participating in activities like gym workouts, boxing, and running market stalls. She also has a passion for head painting and caring for her cat and dog. As her Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting her to live a fulfilling life.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care, including personal hygiene assistance and medication administration, tailored to her needs and preferences.
  • Accompany her to various activities, such as gym sessions, boxing classes, and community events, ensuring her safety and well-being.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, contributing to a comfortable and organized living environment.
  • Support her artistic endeavors by assisting with head painting projects and market stall setup and operation.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the client and her family, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Your Qualifications:
  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to individuals with disabilities.
  • Previous experience working with clients who have cerebral palsy or similar conditions is highly desirable.
  • A recognized Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this role.
