Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves covering a designated geographical area, providing essential maintenance and repair services for our range of material handling equipment.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with a background in vehicle technology or mechanical engineering. Experience in roles such as forklift technician, plant fitter, or similar positions is highly desirable. Familiarity with plant equipment, powered access machinery, agricultural vehicles, or industrial cleaning equipment will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
As a Service Engineer, you will:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults in various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance at customer locations.
  • Utilize technology to maintain accurate records and manage orders.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, or hydraulics.
  • An NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A full UK driving license.
