Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Podiatrist to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Podiatrist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality woundcare services and contributing to the development of our podiatry service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a defined complex patient caseload autonomously, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to service delivery in various clinical settings, including woundcare, nail surgery, and MSK podiatry.
  • Undertake specialist clinical assessment and formulate evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide information to patients and carers, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure safe patient discharge.
Requirements
  • Podiatry Professional degree/diploma
  • HCPC registration
  • Good general education
Desirable Skills
  • Car Driver
  • Ability to lead junior colleagues
  • Advanced communication and listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work autonomously, and as part of a team
