Position: Children and Young People Services Manager
Reference: REC
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (Salary point 35 – 38)
Contract: Permanent

Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people, as well as the adults who support them. Your leadership will be vital in overseeing a variety of targeted mental health initiatives and capacity-building efforts.
We are embarking on an exciting journey to expand our services for children and young people, and we are looking for a skilled Service Manager to guide our projects and staff effectively.
Working closely with the Children and Young People Development Manager, you will ensure the efficient implementation of our initiatives, refining systems and practices to achieve optimal outcomes for those we serve.
You will lead a dedicated team of practitioners engaged in diverse projects throughout various Scottish communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in children and young people's mental health and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with educational institutions, youth organizations, and health services, including CAMHS.
- Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in staff management and service development.
- Understand the challenges faced by children, young people, and their families that impact mental health and wellbeing.
- Work with stakeholders, including funders and local authorities, to evaluate and enhance existing projects and develop innovative approaches aligned with our strategic goals.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
