The Role
We actively promote flexible working within the Systems team, allowing you to adapt your schedule to accommodate personal commitments.
The Systems team is seeking a motivated individual dedicated to supporting the systems utilized within the Place directorate. This position may also extend to encompass other corporate IT systems employed by the Council.
Your responsibilities will include balancing the routine maintenance and administration of systems alongside system enhancement initiatives.
You will be accountable for managing and successfully executing these projects.
This role will be part of the Systems team while collaborating closely with colleagues in the Place directorate and other departments within the Council.
About You
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a systems environment are essential, as you will play a crucial role in user acceptance testing for new functionalities.
You should possess the ability to analyze, manipulate, and report on complex data sets to support corporate decision-making.
Identifying and developing enhancements, collaborating with services to understand their requirements, and translating these into operational systems will be vital for the successful candidate.
It is advantageous to have the capability to navigate across various systems and quickly learn new technologies.
Excellent IT, communication, and organizational skills are required.
