Job Title: Facilities Compliance Specialist

The Facilities Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and auditing facilities services across Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust's sites. This will involve conducting regular audits and writing reports to ensure compliance with NHS national standards and requirements.

The postholder will work closely with site leads and domestic and estates teams to resolve any areas of concern or failure for rectification. They will also be responsible for writing a monthly assurance report for Trust senior management.

The Facilities team sits within the Capital Investment and Estates Services department at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. We are passionate about delivering high-quality and effective facilities services to our staff and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of facilities services to ensure compliance with NHS national standards and requirements
  • Write reports and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with site leads and domestic and estates teams to resolve any areas of concern or failure for rectification
  • Write a monthly assurance report for Trust senior management
Requirements
  • GCSE IT qualification minimum C grade or equivalent
  • Experience checking and auditing services to an agreed standard
  • Proven experience creating, distributing and managing action plans
  • Demonstrable experience writing high-quality reports
  • Experience working in a role requiring self-management to meet deadlines
  • Working in the NHS / healthcare setting
  • Auditing to NHS national cleaning standards
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of the principles of cleaning colour coding systems
  • Knowledge of assurance reporting through graphs, tables etc. to identify non-conformances, trends and other appropriate data
  • Knowledge of NHS national standards of healthcare cleanliness
