Job Title: Account Handler

At MACTALENT LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Handler to join our team. As an Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Actively work towards attracting new clients and renewing existing ones to drive business growth.
  • Organisation and Time Management: Work with minimal guidance to organise your work activities, ensuring personal and team objectives are achieved.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, reporting on business progress and providing relevant management information to senior managers.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, ensuring their queries are resolved and providing high-quality market documentation.
  • Market Analysis: Review client documentation, prepare market presentations, and negotiate with underwriters to place insurance that balances quality, coverage, and price.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records on our company system, ensuring accurate and compliant information.
Requirements:
  • Education: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), A levels (desirable), and attainment of the LLMIT (the Lloyd's and London Market Introductory Test), where relevant to the role.
  • Skills and Attributes: Good understanding of team objectives, specific systems knowledge, customer-focused approach, good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work flexibly.
