Job Description

**Job Title:** Night Supervisor

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Supervisor to join our team at Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel & Spa. As a Night Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient night audit process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as processing payments and handling guest complaints.
  • Night Audit: Conduct a thorough night audit, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date, and that all hotel systems are functioning properly.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support the night team, providing guidance and training as needed, and ensuring that all team members are working together to achieve excellent customer service and operational standards.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the night manager, other departments, and external partners, ensuring that all necessary information is shared and that all parties are informed of any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, night audit processes, and customer service standards.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
