Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team at Cast UK Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our business and driving strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Develop and execute strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of our operations team, including supply chain management, production planning, inventory control, quality assurance, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads: Work closely with department heads to set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Negotiate contracts with logistics partners and service providers to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the operations team.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and analyze financial data, including budgets and forecasts, to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a high-level operational leadership position, preferably within the supply chain or logistics industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of inventory management strategies, production planning techniques, and industry regulations.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve business objectives.
