Quality Assurance Manager

Octagon Group is seeking an experienced Lead Quality Inspector to execute and drive a Strategic Quality Plan in collaboration with plant leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary interface for quality-related matters, leading complaint resolution, and executing root cause and corrective action processes.
- Lead the Quality Team in data collection, analysis, and the deployment of quality best practices within the manufacturing area.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems, especially during the development and launch of new products and processes.
- Conduct internal audits of Quality Systems and manage documentation to meet customer requirements for new or modified products and processes.
- Analyze organizational quality metrics, recommend action plans, and lead efforts to close operational gaps.
- Design and conduct quality assurance training programs, and support product development and launch activities.
- Develop and audit inspection and test plans, investigate quality issues, and ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a small team of Quality personnel.
- Expertise in problem-solving methods such as Six Sigma, 8D, and root cause analysis, with a deep understanding of statistical tools and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry-specific quality registration schemes (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.).
- Experience in System and process auditing, product testing requirements, and engineering design concepts.
- Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams and drive performance in alignment with strategic quality objectives.
