We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Coordinator to join our team at Owens & Minor, Inc. As a Branch Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for patients and customers, providing information and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process orders, verify insurance information, and obtain necessary documentation to ensure accurate billing and payment.
- Collaborate with the sales team, referrals, and patients to gather documentation and information needed to meet insurance guidelines.
- Review patient accounts, obtain necessary documentation, and ensure accurate billing and payment.
- Collect credit card payments and reconcile daily receivables.
- Perform outbound customer satisfaction calls to patients and referrals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in multiple systems.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- At least two years of experience in an office environment, healthcare setting, or call center.
- Experience utilizing a multi-line phone system.
This position is performed in an office setting with moderate noise and indoor fluorescent lighting.
