Position: Farm Animal Caretaker
Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Farm Animal Caretakers. This role offers a competitive starting wage of £11.75 per hour, increasing to £11.95 after the probation period, with potential further increases up to £12.35.
Working Hours
The typical work schedule is as follows: Monday to Wednesday from 8 AM to 5 PM, Thursday from 5 AM to 2 PM (on a rotating schedule every three weeks), and Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Weekend work may be required on a rotational basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring the welfare of livestock
- Managing feed supplies
- Completing all assigned tasks to a high standard
- Maintaining a safe working environment
Candidate Profile
While prior experience in agriculture is beneficial, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and must have reliable transportation, as our farms are located in remote areas.
