Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Manager to join our team at Norfolk County Council. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing communications strategies to promote our services and engage with our diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing communications plans to achieve business objectives
  • Manage and maintain our brand identity and ensure consistency across all communications channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop targeted communications campaigns
  • Design and create high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing communications, preferably in a local government or public sector setting
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices, including branding, advertising, and social media marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and tone
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
