Exciting Opportunity for Education Support in Braintree

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Education Support Worker to join our team in Braintree. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students continue to learn and progress in the absence of their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers
  • Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed
  • Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
