Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading classes and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant or experienced Cover Supervisor to take on a new challenge and gain more experience in the education sector. You will have the chance to work with a variety of schools and students, and develop your skills and confidence in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead classes and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Implement lesson plans and activities as directed by the regular teacher
  • Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a classroom environment
  • Good behavior management skills
  • Availability to work between 1-5 days per week
