Quality Assurance Engineer for Suppliers

Our client, a leading entity in the manufacturing and engineering domain, is in search of a Supplier Quality Engineer / Metrologist to enhance their team.

This permanent position is pivotal in ensuring that all supplied products meet the design specifications and testing protocols.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing measurement validation and conducting statistical analysis on supplier products.
  • Performing initial validation against mechanical and electrical drawings as well as test specifications.
  • Generating precise Inspection and Deviation Reports (IDR) and preparing Supplier Investigation Reports (SIRs) for any non-compliant parts.
  • Overseeing the management of SIRs, ensuring timely closure.
  • Providing essential information to purchasing and supply chain teams regarding non-conforming products.
  • Establishing inspection criteria for parts and communicating inspection requirements back to suppliers.
  • Managing the programming of the OGP CMM machine and other measurement tools.
  • Ensuring all measurement instruments are calibrated and properly labeled.


Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in operating CMMs, including programming capabilities.
  • Background in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and sampling plans.

  • Proficiency in ERP applications and tools.
