Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a permanent Administrative Support Specialist located at Caley Court Resource Centre.
Working Hours:
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday & 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday (37 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
You will deliver a comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial service to the North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (NADARS).
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 'O' Grade / Standard Grade Credit / National 5 level in English and Maths, along with an SVQ Level III in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
A recognized IT qualification and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint) are required. Strong keyboard skills, experience in minute-taking, management of electronic filing systems, and diary management are essential.
Experience within an NHS setting and familiarity with interdisciplinary networks are advantageous.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality.
Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to work independently, utilizing initiative, and effectively manage their workload under pressure, adapting to changing priorities and urgent demands.
