Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced individual to provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people in our residential setting. As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents, while also providing leadership and guidance to our care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, including physical care, emotional support, and advocacy.
  • Lead and manage the care team, ensuring that policies, procedures, and routines are followed.
  • Liaise with managers, senior staff, and other professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and implement care plans, including assessments, reviews, and updates.
  • Administer medication, as required, and promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Participate in supervision, training, and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • SVQ Levels 4 & 3 and HNC qualifications, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
