Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for OEM legacy and non-core products, is seeking a skilled Material Planner to support our continued success and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Support effective material management to meet business plans and schedules for Ontic.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Programmes, and Production teams to ensure timely delivery of products and required quality.
- Proactively address shortages through the supply chain, goods inward, and stores, performing root cause investigation and resolution as needed.
- Identify and manage material requirements for bulk issue, including end-of-life management, and monitor and suggest stock levels and safety stock usage.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment in a Planning/Material role.
- Comfortable using ERP/MRP systems, with experience in Forecasting, Production Planning, and Scheduling.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to work autonomously and influence customer demands within the wider business.
- Desirable experience in an Aerospace environment.
