Experienced Social Worker / Senior Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker / Senior Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in London Borough of Greenwich.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a qualified Social Worker with full SWE registration and relevant experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of children with disabilities and their families, and will be able to provide high-quality social work services to support their well-being and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of children with disabilities and their families, and develop and implement plans to support their well-being and development.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including healthcare and education professionals, to ensure that children with disabilities receive the support they need.
  • Provide guidance and support to families, and help them to access the resources and services they need.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the needs of children with disabilities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, including experience of working with children with disabilities and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of professionals and stakeholders.
