As a key member of our Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs department, you will play a vital role in shaping our organization's public affairs strategy and promoting our mission to improve the lives of people affected by dementia.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong understanding of public affairs, policy, and communications. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective public affairs strategies to influence policy and decision-makers, as well as promoting our organization's work and mission to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public affairs strategies to influence policy and decision-makers
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parliamentarians, policymakers, and other influencers
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on public affairs and policy issues
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders, including media, parliamentarians, and other influencers
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs, reports, and other materials to support our public affairs work
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest policy and legislative developments and provide expert advice to senior leaders
