We are currently partnering with a well-known consultancy firm to help them set up their Advisory practice in the north of England. They are on the hunt for a passionate Head of Professional Services with experience in P&L, managing and developing teams, and business development. The ideal candidate will also be tasked with selling advisory work to current and new clients. To be successful, you must have senior-level experience in the north of England (Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and/or Leeds) and a pool of clients across different industries.

Our client focuses on different industries but they would like to grow their presence on Retail & Consumer, Transport and/or Public Services sectors.
About the Role
The Advisory Practice Lead role will ensure:
- Set up and lead the Advisory division in the north of England.
- Work closely with clients to understand their current needs around Change, Data, Cyber security, CxO advisory, M&A tech integration, just to name a few.
- Assist with client pitches and dialogue (Business Development and client relationship management)
- Have a business development target along with the other Partners (Collaborative BD and hunting in a team)
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a business strategy for the Advisory division.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality advisory services.
- Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Senior-level experience in the north of England (Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and/or Leeds).
- A pool of clients across different industries.
- Experience in P&L, managing and developing teams, and business development.
- Strong business development skills and a proven track record of success.
What We Offer
Blue Astral Consulting offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Salary £140,000 to £180,000.

Working Location
The primary work location for the role is in central Manchester and visits to clients, when required. Hybrid working is optional.
