Job Title: Senior Real Estate Valuer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Valuer to join our Corporate Lending Team at Together, a leading property finance expert. As a Senior Real Estate Valuer, you will play a crucial role in valuing complex and unusual assets, ensuring our lending decisions are informed and risk-averse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and refine our lending policy and valuation security approach to ensure alignment with our risk appetite.
  • Undertake thorough reviews of valuation reports for new lending opportunities exceeding £1M, identifying key risks and providing recommendations on suitability to lend.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external valuation panel managers and LPA Receivers to promote our property portfolio and lending opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on non-panel valuations, ensuring our lending decisions are well-informed.
  • Support the Group Head of Valuations in providing strategic advice on property market trends and their impact on our lending appetite.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Portfolio team and Loan Servicing division to undertake retrospective reviews of reports and provide strategic input into loan restructuring, workout, and recoveries.
Requirements:
  • RICS qualification.
  • Direct experience in property valuation reporting for lending purposes.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide expert advice.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
