Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Forklift Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for attending forklift breakdowns and routine appointments to carry out electrical fault diagnosis, service, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of Forktrucks/Forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend forklift breakdowns and routine appointments to carry out electrical fault diagnosis, service, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of Forktrucks/Forklifts.
  • Ensure that quality and health & safety procedures relating to the function are adhered to at all times.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of forklift equipment and systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Gloucester and Cheltenham.
  • Hold a Vehicle Mechanical, or a Mechanical Engineering qualification, or have equivalent experience.
  • Be full competent with battery repairs and similar.
  • Have experience with hydraulics and dashboard components.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
